The Programme
Ten months. Three Schools — Music, Film & Fashion. One permanent House, one real company. You don't study the industry from the outside; you run an enterprise inside it, release real work to the world and own it. Talent is everywhere. The business is the difference.
What it is
A working academy, not a lecture hall.
1,000 students. Twelve permanent Houses named for Africa's greatest kingdoms. A curriculum built to a professional production standard — but the real teacher is the year itself. From February to December 2027 you build, merge, create, release and promote a body of real work, then present it on a stage.
The programme runs on weekends so you can keep your life and job while you build. It closes with a public release in July and graduation at the AMEDI Festival in December 2027.
The essentials
10 months · weekends
Cohort begins February 2027; graduation at AMEDI, December 2027.
1,000 students · 12 Houses
Every student joins one permanent House for the whole year — and life.
Three Schools
Music (MBA), Film (FBA) or Fashion (FAB) — specialise in one, learn the business of all three.
₦500,000 / $500
Subsidised fee for the full programme. Scholarships available.
The shape of the year
The “2 + 3 + 5” model
Two months of specialised craft, three months of the shared Integrated Core, five months running your company all the way to a public release and a showcase stage.
2 · Vertical Craft
Two months of deep, specialised training in your School — Music, Film or Fashion — inside your permanent House. You learn the craft and the language of your discipline before you ever have to sell it.
You leave with: command of your vertical and a House team you trust.
3 · Integrated Core
Three months of the shared business curriculum every creative enterprise needs — ventures, finance, IP, reputation, data, AI and pan-African trade. This is where three Schools start speaking one business language.
You leave with: the operating skills to run a real company.
5 · Execution
Five months to merge, create, release publicly, promote for real and present a grand strategy. This is the part that can't be faked — real work, real audiences, real accountability, to the AMEDI stage.
You leave with: released work, owned IP and a track record.
Month by month
The seven phases of the year
One arc from a standing start in February to a graduating showcase in December. Each phase builds the one before it.
Choose your craft
Three Schools. Three real companies.
You specialise in one School and build the business of your discipline — then merge to develop talent across all three.
Music Business
MBA — develop the artist
The executives behind the streaming era. You build a music company: sign and develop an artist, own the rights, run the release.
You build: a record label & management outfit.
- A&R & artist management
- Rights, royalties & finance
- PR, radio & DSP strategy
- Sub-companies: label · publishing · live & touring
Film Business
FBA — develop the director
Producing for the high-volume Nollywood model. You build a production company: back a director, make the film, take it to market.
You build: a film & content studio.
- Producing, production & post
- Content & social studios
- Distribution & licensing
- Sub-companies: studio · content house · distribution arm
Fashion Business
FAB — develop the designer
From sourcing in West Africa to a runway showcase. You build a fashion house: back a designer, launch a collection, sell it.
You build: a fashion label & retail brand.
- Styling, brand & creative direction
- Marketing & retail strategy
- IP, sourcing & export
- Sub-companies: label · retail brand · export house
Your House for life
12 Houses. Named for Africa's greatest kingdoms.
Every student belongs to one of twelve permanent Houses — a complete creative enterprise you'll carry for the rest of your career. Your House is your team, your company and your family for the year and beyond.
Then comes the Merge: Houses combine into merged groups, and each group develops one Artist, one Director and one Designer together. That's when a music company, a film studio and a fashion house learn to build talent as one — the way the real industry actually works.
The shared curriculum
The Integrated Core
Whatever your School, every founder needs the same operating skills. For three months, all three Schools learn one business language.
Ventures & Finance
Building a company, raising and managing money, and reading a business the way an investor does.
IP & Reputation
Owning what you make, protecting it, and building a brand and reputation that compounds.
Data, AI & Trade
Working with data and AI as tools, and trading across a pan-African market, not just one city.
The finish
A public release in July. A stage in December.
The year isn't graded on paper. It's judged by the world.
July · The public release
Halfway through, you go public — music on the platforms, a film premiered, a collection launched. Real work, released under your name, to real audiences who owe you nothing. From here on, everything is measured for real.
December · The AMEDI showcase
The year closes at the AMEDI Festival: graduation, a showcase of everything your House and merged group built, and a body of owned work you carry into the industry — with a network of faculty, partners and alumni behind it.
Ten months that change your career
