The Beneficiaries Fund
Talent is everywhere; the money isn't. The Beneficiaries Fund puts talented people who can't afford the fee through the 2027 programme on a full or partial scholarship. There is exactly one route in — the CBA Bootcamps.
How it works
One route in. No other door.
You cannot apply to the Beneficiaries Fund with a form or a letter. The only way to be selected is to take the CBA Bootcamps and score. It's the fairest system we could build: everyone is measured the same way, on the same tests, in the open.
The bootcamps are short, affordable and online — so anyone across Africa and the diaspora can take part, wherever they are and whatever they can pay.
The path to a scholarship
1 · Register for the Bootcamps
Sign up for the CBA Bootcamps. The first one is free, so anyone can start.
2 · Take bootcamps & sit the tests
Short online classes across Nov & Dec. Each ends in a test. The more you take, the higher you can score.
3 · Climb the scoreboard
Your test scores add up into one cumulative score and a live rank, visible to you the whole way.
4 · Get selected, top-down
When the season closes, scholarships go from the highest score down — to the last student the Fund can pay for.
The selection rule
From the top score, all the way down to the last funded seat.
When scoring closes, every participant is ranked by cumulative score. Selection begins at rank one and runs down the list — awarding scholarships until the Fund is spent. Wherever the money runs out is the cut-off line.
The more you take, the higher you climb
Every bootcamp test you sit adds to your score. Taking more bootcamps is always an advantage — there's no cap.
Everyone can see the line
A live scoreboard shows your score, your rank and the estimated cut-off. No mystery, no favouritism.
Below the line isn't the end
Everyone who isn't funded gets a priority-waitlist place and an early-bird offer on the standard fee.
What you win
A place in the 2027 programme — paid for.
A Beneficiaries Fund scholarship covers the ₦500,000 / $500 programme fee, in full or in part depending on your band and the Fund's size. That's ten months across Music, Film & Fashion, real production, and your place at the AMEDI showcase.

Is there any other way to get a scholarship?
No. The CBA Bootcamps are the only route to a Beneficiaries Fund scholarship. To be considered, you must register for the Bootcamps and sit the tests.
What if I can't afford the bootcamp fees?
The first bootcamp is free, and a hardship waiver — pay what you can, or nothing — is available on request when you register. The whole point of the Fund is access, so the fee is never a barrier.
How are scholarships decided?
Purely by your cumulative test score. When scoring closes, we rank everyone and award scholarships from the highest score downward until the Fund is exhausted. You can watch your rank on the live scoreboard throughout.
Does taking more bootcamps really help?
Yes. Your scores add up across every bootcamp you take, with no cap — so sitting more tests is always an advantage.
What happens if I'm not selected?
You're placed on a priority waitlist and offered an early-bird / instalment rate on the standard fee. No qualified participant is turned away empty-handed.
